Don't bend past 90°. Get dressed anyway — the whole way back.
Total hip or knee replacement, ACL — anything that puts a joint off-limits for weeks. From the first days home when you can't bend past 90°, reach your feet, or cross your legs, through the PT and rehab weeks, all the way back to normal. The surgery was your surgeon's job. Getting dressed seated — without breaking a single precaution, every morning of recovery — is ours. We built the pants that come to you instead.

The floor might as well be a mile away — for weeks.
Socks, shoes, waistbands — everything below the knee becomes a negotiation you're not allowed to have, and not just on day one. Bending past 90°, reaching your feet, crossing your legs: off-limits through the first weeks and into rehab. These pants dress from a chair — from the first morning home through PT — without bending, without help, without breaking a single precaution.
Hip precautions, knee realities
Every joint replacement comes home with its own rules, and every week changes what you can do. Each card below points you toward the right pieces for your stage, from dressing seated the first days to walking back to normal.
Find someone who's been right where you are
This dress fulfills its function as a post surgery dress well — the snaps are spaced perfectly and sewn on securely.
Get them prior to surgery and wash them and bring them to the surgery to wear home.
This worked perfectly for my ride home from the hospital — and I still use it now.
They were breathable, spacious enough for easy movement, and featured an adjustable waistband.
I used it during my post-op recovery and it turned out to be very useful and comfortable.
It's nice that something like this exists. Practical.
What we built — and exactly why
The side seams open completely flat — you guide the leg in from a chair, snap up the sides, and never bend past the hip or reach your feet. Sit down, dress, stand up. Total hip, total knee, or ACL, the precaution stays unbroken from the first day through rehab because the pants never ask you to break it.
Side snaps open around knee braces, ice wraps, and dressings, so the bulk is never a problem — and a reacher guides the leg in so you never bend to the floor. One garment plus one aid solves dressing without a single precaution broken, week after week.
Rehab means the therapist needs the knee or hip, and a standard waistband lands right on a hip incision. Side snaps open flat so PT reaches the joint without you undressing, our soft, wide waists sit away from the site, and modal-cotton blends are chosen for post-surgical skin — so getting dressed doesn't fight your recovery at any stage.
Order before your surgery date. Come home to everything ready.
After a hip or knee replacement you can't bend to reach your feet for weeks. Having the wardrobe ready before your date — washed, tried on, waiting — means dressing from a chair is already solved when you get home.
This is what hip & knee recovery actually feels like.
