About NothingPink
[Draft from NothingPink — approve/edit]Because there is nothing 'pink' about cancer
NothingPink's mission is to advance education, awareness, and support of genetic testing for hereditary breast and gynecological cancers, serving individuals and families across North Carolina and South Carolina. The organization was founded in 2015 by Kelly Kashmer, who was diagnosed with Stage II triple-negative breast cancer at 31 — two weeks after learning she carried a BRCA2 mutation. Genetic testing saved her life, and NothingPink exists so others can know their risk and act on it early.
Support here is personal and practical: support groups where previvors and survivors talk with people who understand, guidance on genetic counseling and testing, surgical care packages of more than 30 items curated by women who have been through breast or GYN surgery, post-surgical meals, and treatment planners that keep the details in one place — with team members like Patient Navigator Rachel Simpkins and Director of Operations Carrie Williams who know this path personally. Learn more at nothingpink.org.

"At NothingPink, we are committed to empowering individuals and families affected by hereditary breast and gynecological cancers."

[Draft — pending NothingPink approval]"A preventive mastectomy is still a mastectomy — the same drains, the same weeks of careful healing. Our members constantly ask what to bring home from surgery, and front-closing, drain-friendly clothing is always on that list. Inspired Comforts makes the pieces we are glad to point to."

Why NothingPink recommends Inspired Comforts
[Draft — pending NothingPink approval]For the surgery you chose, and the one you didn't
Many in our community choose surgery before cancer can choose them — previvors scheduling risk-reducing mastectomies with a date circled on the calendar. Others are in active treatment after a diagnosis. Up close, the weeks after surgery look the same either way: drains to manage, arms that should not lift, skin that wants softness.
Inspired Comforts designs for exactly those weeks — hidden drain pockets, zip fronts, port access if chemo is part of the plan. And because so many of our members plan their surgeries in advance, there is time to order ahead, try everything on at home, and go in with one less unknown. The code below takes 20% off everything, including kits, with a 30-day comfort guarantee.
